Prime examples of what The Black Country is famous for...

...industry. Taken on the train up to Wolverhampton. Please excuse the smudges on the images, it's from where someone has scratched the window - you'd think people had better things to do....
Did you see the latest Matrix film? So did loads of Japanese people.

Gah. Rain.

Something I noticed the other day. People don't have pet dogs round here, they have 'hard men' dogs e.g. pit bulls, mastiffs, dobermans, etc.

As promised, photos of my neighbour's tumblers in flight today.

If you watch normal pigeons flying they're very much more in a rigid formation, whereas these ones seem to randomly tumble, stall and divebomb. Like I said, a bit weird.
Finally a weekend with nothing planned. Get the papers in, cooked breakfast. Sorted.

Ewok Cash point now not avaialble from Amazon.
More local cycling although this site hasn't ben updated in a while.
I went for a cycle this morning. As we've been living in the Black Country for three months now, I thought it was about time I sampled the local canals. So off I went on my bike, through a veeery long, dark tunnel, carried on a bit further... until I came to...

I met some people coming the other way who reckoned some kids must have nicked this milk float and managed to wedge it between the rails of the towpath. Don't worry everyone, I soon managed to rejoin the path and continue my ride into town. Phew.
